Thinking about studying in Finland? Talk to someone who has actually done it. I took a less typical route to Finland — from a career in business to studying Industrial Management at Turku University of Applied Sciences. Since then, I’ve experienced Finland beyond the classroom: joining an exchange programme, tutoring new students, working summer jobs, finding an internship, and now pursuing my Master’s at the University of Vaasa. These experiences have shown me that studying abroad is about more than getting into a university. It’s also about knowing what life looks like once you get here. That’s what I enjoy sharing with students — an honest perspective on studying and living in Finland, beyond what you’ll find on a university website.
